Last Thursday, October 11th, we had the opportunity to celebrate the 1st GastroCheese Edition at D.O.Mar Marbella Restaurant with Abel Valverde, the restaurant’s maitre with two Michelin stars, Santceloni.
15 varieties of exclusive cheeses selected from the most select cheese factories were offered, which were accompanied by a great pairing consisting of Cava Albet i Noya Brut D.O. Cava, Craft beer iron pier Marbella, Ocnos chardonnay Sevilla, Oloroso Rioviejo Lustau D.O. Jerez and Tinto flor de vetus D.O. Bull.
The evening was completed with an elaborate menu based on cheeses, which included three dishes from one of the great references of Spanish cuisine and “National Award for Best Chef”, Oscar Velasco
